Philip Seymour Hoffman (July 23, 1967 – February 2, 2014) was an American actor and director. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the 2005 biographical film Capote, and received three Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor as well as three Tony Award nominations for his work in the theater.
At the time of his death, Hoffman was filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2, the final The Hunger Games movie, and had already completed filming the majority of his scenes.

GROUNDHOG DAY

Groundhog Day  is a day celebrated on February 2. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog  emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.

 

Today, Groundhog Day 2014,  emerging from his lair on Super Bowl Sunday, groundhog Punxsutawney Phil couldn’t predict the winner of the big game but his handlers said he was sure of his weather forecast: There will be six more weeks of winter!

SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL

The Super Bowl XLVIII is an upcoming American football match between American Football Conference champion, Denver Broncos, and National Football Conference champion Seatle Seahawks, to decide the National Football League. It is going to be held tomorrow, February 2, at Metlife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey. 

Last year Super Bowl match was seen by approximately 111 million viewers. At no other time during the year does any business obtain that extensive amount of viewership. Super Bowl Sunday has power! Power to draw viewers; power to capture attention; power to make consumers sit up and watch commercials. 

For many people, the best part of this great day is watching the commercials armed with tones of snacks. Here is one of these clips! Isn't it cute?
